Our years of experience in employment-law practice means that we are not surprised by recent media stories about transgressive behaviour. Employees have become more assertive and employers are increasingly expected to clarify what they regard as undesirable behaviour at work and to implement an active policy to combat such behaviour.
Accordingly, we have taken continuing education courses so that we can support our clients – both employers and employees – in this new reality.
For businesses that are not our clients, we are available to act as External Confidential Advisor. In this role we can offer front-line support to employees experiencing transgressive behaviour. In addition we provide information to businesses on this issue and can offer advice to management boards. Behind all this is the goal of creating safe workplaces in which employees can perform effectively.
And this is evidenced by the falling percentage of sick-leave and the degree to which business are able to hold on to their employees for longer periods of time.
Our lawyers have years of experience in their areas of expertise and train annually, including in a special programme from Erasmus University. They also carry out peer reviews with each other and other fellow lawyers.
